Challenge

In a saturated music festival landscape, how can we help highlight Field Trip as the premiere summer festival option?

Solution

We utilized the Young Offenders creative talents to execute a multi-platform strategy of live event installations & creative content development to promote the festival leading up to the event.

Event installation: For the ‘Field Trip Discovery series’ club shows, we custom-designed and built a giant, 6’x8’ wall-mounted turntable which was projection mapped to showcase content from sponsors, and details about the upcoming festival.

Video content: Young Offenders Jared Raab and Adam Belanger partnered on a creative content series with “30 Second History” videos of the festival’s headlining talent. These videos were picked up and shared by the artists and their fan bases worldwide, thereby increasing awareness of the Field Trip festival brand worldwide.

Result

  • 500 000+ views of promotional video content
  • 4 000 first-hand and social spread of 20 000+ impressions on record player installation
  • 15 000 tickets sold over 2 days, marking the best-attended Field Trip festival to-date
